About me
My name is Steve. I am a retired Orlando firefighter of twenty-six years. It was a fantastic career resulting in a deep well of memories. On my days off, I also worked as an RN in my local Emergency Department. After retiring from both careers, I went back to school at Liberty University Seminary. My wife and I worked in ministry until 2021 when we decided to sell almost everything and begin life on the road. We are in our second year of full-time RV travel.
About this blog
The title "Wear Jesus Well," is the result of an experience we had with a couple in our church. They were young and the wife had come down with a potentially life-threatening illness. Her mother called and told her no matter how serious her condition, she needed to Wear Jesus Well. I didn't expect such a comment from her mother and yet it was the most encouraging thing she could have said. She was reminding her who it was her life represented and how people would turn to Christ because of her example. I was taken aback by the thought of how that looks in a persons life and asked myself, do I wear Jesus well and if I do, what does it look like?

This blog is an attempt on my part to figure out what it means to Wear Jesus Well and how I/we could achieve such a challenge. I hope to combine some of our travel experiences with life experiences and biblical principles. I truly believe if we desire to learn how to do this, to Wear Jesus Well, we need look no further than Scripture; reading, meditating (thinking about what we've read), and putting it into practice. If we do this, that is commit to the plan, we can be a successful example of how to Wear Jesus Well.
